As with other courses, I provide multiple methods for students to demonstrate mastery of the course objectives.  In this course, I asked students to analyze research articles, do online activities to help them recognize abnormal behavior, write reflection papers on course studies and take both in-class and online exams.  Again, in this class I graded class discussions
